Thomas Jefferson said "I find that the harder I work, the more luck I seem to have." This quote is one of my favorites. I've witnessed this very thing many times in my career... and it always amazes me that there are some people who don't understand this concept. I've watched people come to work early and stay late... then they get an amazing opportunity for advancement... and the people who show up late... leave early... and barely do anything while they're actually AT work... think the overachiever was just “lucky”. Ol' Thomas Jefferson understood... the harder we work... the luckier we are! Give it a try... get out there and give it your very best and you'll be amazed how LUCKY you get!
