Thich Nhat Hanh said “The most precious gift we can offer others is our presence. When our mindfulness embraces those we love, they will bloom like flowers.” What a beautiful quote! I've never heard this before, but I like it. Very vivid picture it paints! I agree too. Half the time you're winning by just showing up! When someone invites a bunch of people to join them for something... it can be pretty powerful to be one of the few who actually show up! That's even MORE evident I n the social media world. I've clicked the “going” button on an event, then completely forgot about it. I always feel bad about that, but then, sadly... I do it again! Sorry!
