There's an anonymous quote that says “If you want help, help others. If you want love, give it. If you want respect, show it. Whatever you want more of, start giving more of.” I love this quote. It reminds me of a time we moved to a new town. We went to our new church and noticed that everyone kind of stayed in their own little groups. The first few weeks we just went home after church. Then I hatched a plan. We sat at a big table and welcomed people who also looked like they were lost. We met some great people and instead of looking for a group to join... we became a group that welcomed people in.
