Mary Kay said "Never rest on your laurels. Nothing wilts faster than a laurel sat upon." I love that! I worked with a guy who never had two good months back to back! He was in one of two modes.... kicking major tail to make things better than last month... or sitting back and enjoying the success he had last month! The weirdest thing was... HE didn't realize he was doing it! I remember a manager having a pretty straight-forward conversation to let him know... and argued a little at first, then he finally laughed a little and said... OK I do... but how do I fix it? He eventually did fix it... then he nailed it!
