Elbert Hubbard said "I would rather be able to appreciate things I cannot have than to have things I am not able to appreciate." What a cool quote, I've never heard this quote before, but I agree. I've had the opportunity to work with people who are the second or third generation... where their grandparents were hard workers and did very well. Now a few generations later the family doesn't even know what it's like to struggle. Sadly, I witnessed some things that told me they didn't even appreciate all of the amazing things they had. I walked out of that meeting knowing I was probably not the best fit for this company.
