Bill Gates said “Success is a lousy teacher. It seduces smart people into thinking they can't lose.” Oh, I agree completely on this one! I've been amazed to watch someone do well with something, almost on a whim! It seemed like they kind of fell into success with their project. Then they thought they were an expert because of the success, but they were NOT an expert, they were fortunate for sure, but they have no idea why it worked the first time, so they don't really have a step by step plan on how to duplicate it. Meanwhile, if you stumble a bit... you know where every bump is... and how to avoid them!
