I just had this conversation with a business that was trying really hard to be just like his biggest competitor. The problem is... EVERYONE could tell he was trying to be like them! His thinking was pretty clear. It worked for them... why wouldn't it work for him too? The problem is... they already filled that need. They are known... he was new. It actually looked bad for him to try to copy them. Find a need that they're NOT filling and fill THAT need! Be the best version of YOU... instead of an imposture!
