There were a few people attached to this one, but John Templeton is listed as the one who said it this way! Either way, I agree with all of them. It is nice to be important, but it really is FAR MORE IMPORTANT to be nice! Here's a little inside secret... you can be BOTH! If you want to be truly important, be nice! I remember a few years ago, as I was entering a party, there was a little snow on the sidewalk. I saw a guy shoveling the snow. I went over to see if I could help. It was the GOVERNOR. He said “go inside and enjoy the party” I was amazed at that!
