Our discussion was not political in nature, although this would certainly be a topic of discussion for political debate too, but we were talking about business. He mentioned that now that he owns the place, he pays closer attention to expenses. I can relate. When I was an employee... I had no idea how expensive it was to run a business... and it's EASIER to spend someone else's money than it is to spend your own. If you know... you know!
