Thomas Jefferson said “If a nation expects to be ignorant and free it expects what never was and never will be.” I like that quote. Think about how close to home this might hit at times! We can't expect to be free if we ignore what's happening. I'm not asking you to take up arms... that's a bit much... but it makes sense to pay attention to what' happening for sure! For a while... I was too informed. I would watch the news for hours a day. I had that on in my office. I would listen to news on the radio. I would read more information about the things I was interested in. Now. I avoid the news in many places and seek out the truth... rather than the narrative I had been spoon fed!
