Samuel Johnson said "Courage is the greatest of all virtues, because if you haven't courage, you may not have an opportunity to use any of the others." Courage comes in many different varieties. Someone standing up to show their beliefs can take courage. Speaking against the popular thoughts of the day also takes courage. Sometimes we need to risk being wrong if we truly believe we might be right. The movie 12 Angry Men is a great example of this. One juror disagreed with the rest. He stood his ground and changed the outcome of the entire decision of the case, under immense pressure. I watched that classic film a few years ago for the very first time. Excellent movie!
