It ensures that you will absolutely be doing things different from everybody else.” I love this! I remember taking on a job that was way out of my wheel-house. I was eventually going to work in SALES in the company, but before I began that job, I asked if I could work on “the floor”. When I first got there, the word was out that I was one of “the suits” playing pretend. I asked questions and learned so many things. I worked my tail off too. I did earn the respect of the guys who were busting my chops... eventually.
