Arthur Schopenhauer said "Every truth passes through three stages before it is recognized. In the first, it is ridiculed. In the second, it is opposed. In the third, it is regarded as self-evident." I love that. Think about how that works with us. Sometimes we hear something that just sounds ridiculous. We may even try to prove it wrong... then we get a little more information and realize WE were wrong. It's OK. That's part of life. It's not bad to be wrong... it just means you're human. It's not good to STAY wrong... once you find out you're wrong... turn around and go the other direction! Otherwise you're going to drift way off course trying to protect your incorrect beliefs. What do that?
