Martin Luther King Jr. said “We need leaders not in love with money but in love with justice. Not in love with publicity but in love with humanity.” I love that. What an amazing thing to strive for. Think about how weird it is that our political leaders. Not always, but quite often, end up becoming MILLIONAIRES... even thought they're supposedly working for you and me... and their supposedly serving our country with a position that doesn't pay enough to make them millions. Where does this other money come from? What strings are tied to it? We can see how the LEADERS benefit, but how about the country they're leading. How do WE benefit? I sure hope we do!
