Rita Rudner said "My grandmother was a very tough woman. She buried three husbands and two of them were just napping." I love that. I remember when Rita first began doing stand up comedy. Her soft-spoken style set her apart from the rest of the comedians of the time… but her sharp wit cut right through, and she left an amazing impression. Her point here was about how strong her grandmother was. I can relate to that too. Sadly, my grandmother passed away a few years ago. I miss her and I miss her laugh. She’s pretty much the one responsible for my weird sense of humor. She would make me laugh and encouraged me to make her laugh! Thanks Grandma… I miss ya!
