John Stuart Mill said “One person with a belief is equal to 99 who have only interests.” What a great quote. Have you ever met someone who works somewhere, but doesn't really believe in where they work or what they do? They would be part of the 99 in this quote. I remember going to a very popular steakhouse. I asked our server what they best steak was. She quipped back with “I don't know how to answer that, I'm a vegan” Now, I have nothing against anyone who chooses to be a vegan. That's your right. But what a weird place to choose to work... at a steakhouse? In this scenario, she's not even part of the 99. She didn't even have interest! Belief matters!
