Democritus said "More men have become great through practice than by nature." So very true. Think about how many people were born great. I'm sure there were some, but I'll bet there were far more who were born average, or maybe even a little above average with dome great genetics. The their upbringing and their personal dedication to getting better at something takes over. They delve into a subject that fuels their passion and they become GREAT at that thing. Sometimes it's sports or music. Other times it's math or science. These prodigies are great, but I'm almost positive that if you had the chance to ask them. Most would say, practice is what got them to the top of their game!
