I recently talked to a gentleman who I met about fifteen years ago. He and I worked together on a community event. I saw this man at a restaurant recently. He was there with his family and friends. He came over to our table and told my wife and I he was glad to see us to be able to say goodbye. He said this was one of his final meals. He was diagnosed with cancer a while back and his end is very near. I didn't even know what to say, but he knows the value of time for sure.
