Ayn Rand said "The question isn't who's going to let me; it's who's going to stop me." What a great quote! I've been there before. I actually had a similar conversation with someone about a week ago. It was about an event I help plan each year. He was asking who we needed to visit with to get permission to do something at the event. I said “I have never asked for permission, we just do it” He was amazed at that. I let him know that I don't have a typical committee that needs to vote on things. We just plan things, find a way to pay for them, then we do what we planned! It really is way more efficient than the way I've seen other do things!
