Bill Copeland said "Try to be like the turtle--at ease in your own shell." I've never heard that quote before, but I like it. Have you ever met someone who is uncomfortable in their own skin? I have. I know a very nice young man who is 100% perfect the way God made him, but he thinks he needs to be different. He and I were working on a project together. He said “I wish I was taller like you” I kind of laughed. I'm 5'11. I'm not really very tall. He went on about many other things he WISHED he was. I stopped him in the middle of that nonsense and said “You are great exactly the way you are!” He needs to hear this quote. He needs to learn to be comfortable in his own shell, like that turtle! Do you need help too? I'm nothing special, but I'm happy just as I am. I'm working on losing weight, but that was my own doing in the first place.
