There's a great anonymous quote that says "A truly rich man is one whose children run into his arms when his hands are empty." I think this really is wonderful! I love that our kids like to spend time with us. I'll admit, my wife is the fun one. That might surprise some, since I'm a comedian, but my wife is WAY more fun! YES! She absolutely should be a stand up comic, but she's not a fan of public speaking. I brought her on stage at an event and I honestly thought she was going to vomit! I heard her tummy churning and saw FEAR in her eyes. We have not done that again! I love spending time as a family... listening to the stories our kids remember. Sometimes I remember them differently. It's all the same story, from a different perspective. I encourage you to try this with your family. See how differently you remember the same things!
