Confucius said "Everything has beauty, but not everyone can see." I love that. Thanks for sharing that quote Michael! I have a friend who lost his vision a few years ago. Talk about not being able to see the beauty. You would think that losing your vision would lead to that, but I almost feel like, for him, he sees things more beautifully now than I do. Part of me feels like we all take these things for granted, until we no longer have the ability to take them for granted. If you looked at your spouse this evening before going to bed, knowing that tomorrow you'd wake up with no sight, would you look at them differently? I'm sure I would. You probably would too. There are times when I didn't notice my wife got a haircut. We spend many hours together every day. How would I not notice that? Sadly, I see her, but I don't always SEE her.
