F. Scott Fitzgerald's said "Let us learn to show our friendship for a man when he is alive and not after he is dead." This was a line by the character Meyer Wolfsheim in the book "The Great Gatsby" That book was one I had to read when I was a kid. I didn't like to read, so I was not a huge fan. If I were to read it today, I'm sure I would appreciate it more. I kind of like to read. Sadly, I don't give myself as much time to read as I should. So lets get back to the quote. Have you ever lost a friend that died quickly. Someone who left us before you had a chance to tell them how much they mean to you? Maybe you should say it now! Reach out this week to let someone know that they were a big influence in your life. Tell them they're a happy memory from your past. Let them know that they did something cool for you, and you really appreciate it!
