Voltaire said "Judge a man by his questions rather than by his answers." I love this one. I try to ask good questions. When I do a radio interview, I find myself asking some of the same things, but I also wander into a weird place from time to time with questions that they were no expecting. Either way, if you ask good questions, even if they're the same or similar to everyone, you'll get better answers. Here's the most important part. LISTEN to the answer and use that to construct your next question. That's how a real conversation is designed to be. Sometimes we get so wrapped up in the question we asked, that we forget to listen to the answer, then we ask a question they already answered. That is a pet peeve of mine! I've heard it done many times. They will tell you when it is and where it is, then the interviewer will say, so when is this? Even though you just told them when!
