Walter Cronkite said "Success is more permanent when you achieve it without destroying your principles." I agree. Be yourself and be honest about who you are. I watched someone try to morph into a completely different person to get a job they thought they were going to like. They got the job and hated every minute of it. A few weeks later they quit, but they burned some bridges along the way. Now they're trying to decide where they will be going in their future. I think it's pretty good to know this lesson. If you need to pretend to be someone else to get a job, don't do it. Be yourself and you'll have a better chance of being happy with whatever you choose to do. Why take any job that's not a good fit?
