There's an Anonymous quote that says... "No masterpiece was ever created by a lazy artist." How true! To create a masterpiece it takes time, patience, and much effort! There are many examples, but we will share one. If you think of a masterpiece... one name that would come to mind for just about ANYONE compiling a list would be Michelangelo. Did you know he didn't even want to do it, but Pope Julius insisted he paint the ceiling in the Sistine Chapel. At the time he considered himself a sculptor, not a painter... but Michelangelo began work on his famous frescoed ceiling in 1508. He worked for four years. Keep in mind, this was a job he didn't even want to do! But still today... it is considered one of the most amazing works of art in the whole world!
