George Eliot said "Animals are such agreeable friends - they ask no questions; they pass no criticisms." I like that. Probably why we call a dog “man's best friend”! They just wag their tail and make us feel good. Think about how WE can be someone's best friend! Maybe all we need to do is be there for them.... and wag our tails... figuratively... to cheer them on in their time of need. Don't growl and snarl... just be there. It's pretty simple... let them know you're there for them and then just listen... think about it... dog's don't give advice... they don't tell you you're wrong... they just sit there and listen!
