George Bernard Shaw said “Happy is the man who can make a living by his hobby.” I love that. When I was nineteen years old, I had already worked in radio for a little while. I was speaking to a person who I considered a mentor. She said to me “Make your hobby your career and you'll never work a day in your life!” I remember thinking about that for a bit, then taking the advice to heart. I followed my passion and had the chance to work in the radio industry full-time for almost thirty years now. There were many early mornings and late nights, but it never really felt like work!
