Ralph Waldo Emerson said “Friends should be like books, easy to find when you need them, but seldom used.” I agree! Do you have a friend who only calls when they need something? I try SO HARD to not be that friend. I want to give more than I ever ask for. I recently bought a trailer. I was borrowing one from a neighbor and from a brother-in-law. Now I have my own trailer. I've already loaned it out a few times too! I really didn't mind... and it felt good being the one on the lending side for once. It's good to be a friend... it's amazing to be there to help others. But make sure you GIVE more than you take!
