Jesus said “You have heard the law that says, ‘Love your neighbor’ and hate your enemy. But I say, love your enemies! Pray for those who persecute you!” That was from Matthew 5:43-44. I absolutely love that message... whether you're a believer or not... that is great advice. I was in a legal battle a few years ago. It was a dark chapter in our lives. A three and a half year legal battle, a four day jury trial that ended in a two minute decision in our favor. It was not a fun experience, even though we won in the end. The whole time that was happening. I made sure to pray for the man we were in that legal battle with. It was an excellent daily reminder!
