Howard Schultz said "Success is empty if you arrive at the finish line alone. The best reward is to get there surrounded by winners." I love this quote. I instantly thought of lottery winners when I read this. I didn't realize how many jackpot winners end up in a pretty bad place. At first they're on top of the world... they just won millions. Then, they're all alone, because almost every friend and family member is now after a piece of that pie. Strangers pour out of the woodwork to see if they can get a piece too. In the end, they're surrounded by misery and often end up broke again. Like Howard Schultz said "Success is empty if you arrive at the finish line alone.”
