Nelson Mandela said "The greatest glory in living lies not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall." What a great quote. If you've never failed... you've never tried much! I read a book from Al Neuharth, the publisher who brought us the USA Today newspaper. He grew up in the same hometown I grew up in. He was there a few decades before me though. In his book, Confessions of an SOB, he shared how important failure is. He failed at something in his twenties. He believed that without that failure, he would have never had the ability to event try to build a national newspaper in the 1980s. But, because he knew what failure felt like, he was able to step past it.
