Kurt Cobain said “I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not.” What an interesting thought! Kurt left us way too soon. Whether you liked his music or not, I think you can agree with this one. Being a GENUINE person is risky. Some people may not like you. That's OK... if you're doing it right... it will be all the right people who DO like you and all the wrong people who DON'T like you! Sometimes you're better off NOT being liked by everyone. Being your true self can reduce the number of people who love you, but those who do will be HUGE FANS. If you're Luke warm, everyone will just be OK with you!
