Jordan Peterson said “A harmless man is not a good man. A good man is a very, very dangerous man who has it under voluntary control.” What a powerful quote. Think about that. Let's talk about this in terms of cars. Would you rather drive a car that can only go 55 miles per hour... or have one that can go over 100 miles per hour, but YOU keep it at the speed you need to go. Just because it DOES go that fast, doesn't mean you need to drive that fast... but you have the capability to if you need to for some reason. There's something comforting in knowing you have the ability... and you keep it under voluntary control!
