Bill Murray said “Knowledge is like underwear. It is useful to have it, but not necessary to show it off.” I like that. I was just having an underwear conversation the other day, but we'll leave that for another day. I was pretty impressed with a friend last week. He was involved in a conversation where the other person was kind of being a jerk to make a point. My friend calmly disagreed with the assessment. When the jerk asked why he felt that way my friend shared that he spent 4 years in that specialty while serving in the military. That pretty much ended the conversation in a positive way! The jerk even thanked him for his service... I liked that!
