Jim Collins said “Good is the enemy of great.” I love that quote, Thank you Theo! I read Jim Collins' book “Good To Great” about 15 years ago. It was a great book for me at that time in my life. It talks about how important it is to not settle for GOOD if you want to be GREAT. He examined the traits of companies who went from GOOD to GREAT, and what it took to make that happen. One of the companies was a paper company and they decided to sell their paper mills. Everyone thought they were crazy, but in the end, it made the most sense for everyone involved. The mills did better when they were on their own and the company did better when they could focus more! Win-Win!
