Theodore Roosevelt said "Far better is it to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs -- even though checkered by failure -- than to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy much nor suffer much, because they live in a gray twilight that knows not victory nor defeat." What a great quote. I think what he's saying, it's better to fail than to have never even tried! At least that's the way I interpret it. I also agree with that. I have a friend who wanted to try stand up comedy. He wanted to do this for decades. He tried it and didn't like it. I congratulated him, he was a little confused at first, but I explained, NOW YOU KNOW! I'm proud of him for trying it out to get to know that. Be brave, try things!
