Aristotle said "It is during our darkest moments that we must focus to see the light." I agree. I have enjoyed some very high highs in my life, but I've also endured some very low lows. It's amazing how many friends you have on the mountain top... and how lonely it can be in the valley. During those times, I've made some amazing decisions. I've also found ways to be more nimble and work on better ways to do things. I don't know about you, but I never think about ways to save money when I have plenty to spend. But when times are tight, I often find ways to stretch every penny a little further. I might even use a coupon or two! I often have amnesia when things are good. This is usually when I'm signing up for subscriptions for things. Then when things are not as good. I'm in there canceling all those subscriptions!
