Lewis Carroll said "I can’t go back to yesterday–because I was a different person then." So true! I think of this as I go to my hometown. I absolutely loved living there. I didn't want to leave when I moved, but I was married young and I followed my wife to her new job in Iowa. We were divorced a few months later. I'm so glad I followed the path I followed though. That path is how I met Heidi. We've been together over 26 years now. Our anniversary is just before Valentine's Day. There were times when I was going through my divorce when I thought “why did I move to Iowa?” Then God answered my question with the answer... Heidi and Troy! I met my wife and her two year old son because I moved to Iowa. What would my life be like if I had not moved? I don't know... and frankly I don't care. I love the way things worked out. This is the life I chose!
