Martin Luther King Jr. said “We must accept finite disappointment, but never lose infinite hope.” What a great quote. Can you accept disappointment? If not, don't ever get involved in sales of any kind, and whatever you do, don't start your own business. I've been a business owner for over half of my life. I've worked in sales for a little longer. I understand that you might tell me no. As a matter of fact, there are better odds that you'll say no. I'm OK with that. I'm not gonna say no for you. I'll give you the chance to say yes, if you do, we get to work together! If you say no, I will move on to someone else and eventually I find my yes. So many people get hung up on that. WHY? It's not personal. It's just business! You don't need everyone to say yes. If you go out to see enough people and do your best to help them. You'll be fine!
