Mahatma Gandhi said “The future depends on what we do in the present.” What a great quote. I was talking about this very concept with my wife. We had done an amazing job of working on a better lifestyle for the better part of the second half of last year. We were doing different versions of FASTING! Then, around Thanksgiving time, we switched to FEASTING mode. I did pretty good for 4 days a week, but the other three days we went a little over-board. Instead of keeping up with losing weight, we both gained a little back. Not everything that we lost, but enough. My wife said “I wish we could go back and do that differently” I said, “we can! It starts today and we need to keep on the right side of things this time.” In six months, we will look back at today, just like we look back at six months age right now. So today is the day to start!
