Galileo Galilei said "I do not feel obliged to believe that the same God who has endowed us with sense, reason, and intellect has intended us to forgo their use." Very true! We should absolutely use our senses... and reason... and intellect. I see some things online where I wonder if they forgot that. I do my very best to bring people together. I had lunch with a young man who said he likes division. He said it helps you know what someone really believes when they stand up for their side to fight. I suppose that's true, but I'd rather not fight. I have personally never seen anyone win that kind of fight. If I beat you over the head with facts and call you names. Will that change YOUR mind? Probably not. But if I listen to you and let you say what you need to say, then respectfully share my point of view. Maybe we can get along!
