Maya Angelou said "Try to be a rainbow in someone's cloud." I've heard this one before. I loved it then too. I try to do this as often as I can. Sometimes it can be hard. If someone is going through a rough spot, it can be difficult to maneuver this one. I want to be there to cheer them up, but I don't want to cross a line to make them feel even worse. I have a friend who has been through some ups and downs in business. She knew that she would need to move for over a year. A new owner bought the building she was in. Things were good for a bit, then it looked like she might close instead of move. Then a new location became available. Things looked good, then the city made her change some things, it slowed her down. Following her progress videos has been a roller coaster. I stopped in to make sure she was OK. She said she's good.
