Brown said “Courage starts with showing up and letting ourselves be
seen.” I love this. When you think of courage, who do you think of?
Is there someone in YOUR life that just embodies courage in every
way? In history, we can see stories of people who were courageous.
Think of little David, going up against Goliath. That took courage.
Think of the Founding Fathers of the United States. There were 56 men
who signed their name on a document that was a break up letter to the
KING in England. That was treason. Many of them lost everything,
including their lives. That took courage. I think about the First
Responders I know. I have several friends who are firefighters and
police officers. They run into a fire or towards an accident when
others run away. They do this completely filled with courage!
