Henson said "(Kids) don't remember what you try to teach them.
They remember what you are." I love this. Jim Henson gave us the
most amazing gifts. Sesame Street, The Muppets and one of our
favorite Christmas Specials, Emmett Otters Jug Band Christmas. If
you've never seen it.... you're welcome! I agree with Mr. Henson that
kids will remember what you are, but they'll also remember the way
you treat them. I met a guy that I watched on TV. He was a beloved
man. A legend in our state. Larger than life and loved by all. I only
met him once, at a fair and he was drunk and kind of rude. It makes
me sad that this was my personal experience. Many people had much
better encounters with him. I've never held it against him, I don't
share the story much. I never even said who he was here. But I'll
always remember meeting him.
