Cool quote. I said something similar to a friend who asked me for
advice when he was starting a business. At this point, I had started
a few different businesses and we were starting one more. This friend
was asking me for advice. I told him to test the waters, then jump
in. I shared a story of the first time I was allowed into the big
pool. My hometown had a swimming pool for little kids and regular
pool, separated by a chain link fence. The first time I was ever
allowed to go there, I ran directly over to the high dive, I climbed
the huge ladder, walked to the end and jumped in. Then I swam to the
side and did it again about a hundred times. Get over your fear and
get to it. Don't stand there and think too much!
