Muhammad Ali said "Service to others is the rent you pay for your room here on earth." Very nicely said. I know everyone is different, but personally, I enjoy serving others. Sometimes to my detriment! I've said yes to a few too many things from time to time. Last weekend I had seven events. Most of them were spaced enough to make it all work, but I had one event that ended at 3pm and the next on started at 3:45. I had plenty of time to wrap up and drive the few miles needed to be early for the next event, but that's not how life worked. The 3pm event, which I've done every year for over a decade, ended late. They had a computer glitch. I wrapped up as much as I could, then I finally had to slip out at about 3:20. I arrived at the next event with 2 minutes to spare. It was a super close call, but I still walked on stage right on time.
