Martha Washington said "I have learned from experience that the greater part of our happiness or misery depends upon our dispositions, and not upon our circumstances." I can attest to this. I've witnessed a group of people who all went through somethings together, but each of them experienced the situation in their own way. Some people internalized it and made the problem their own, and I think they made it worse. Others kind of avoided the whole thing and pretended it didn't happen. That didn't really help anything. Then some faced it head on, but they never made it about themselves. They just found a way to get past the issue and move into the next phase of their life. I want to be like that. Don't let the rock in your path stop you, let it be an obstacle to overcome. Let the little thing stay little so you can keep moving forward.
