Dame Helen Mirren said "Rejection is just a landing pad for your next takeoff." Excellent quote. I talked to a young lady who was just starting a career in sales. I let know that I've been in media sales since the mid 1990s. She asked if I get rejected often. I said “pretty much every day I'm asking for business, I get more people who say no than yes” She asked me “How do you handle that rejection?” I jokingly said, I'm married, I'm used to rejection! But in reality, I told her that it's all just part of the process. When you're helping people grow their business, some people are more ready for help than others. Sometimes it's a timing issue, other times it's a personality issue, I know, how could anyone not like ME? Trust me, I've met them. They just don't like me!
