I know people who try to emulate someone they admire. Who can fault them for that, right? But sometimes the line gets blurry. Where does emulating someone become a second rate ripoff of them? Singers who do everything they can to sound like someone they love, with songs that sound like they're a copy of a hit. Comedians who have jokes that are almost identical to someone much more famous. They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, but too many times it's not flattering! Just be yourself! You're the best at it!
